Hey guys! Today I’m testing out Rustoleum mirror effect spray paint. This spray paint is suppose to transform glass into mirrors. You use it just like you would any normal spray paint, spraying your surface and allowing it to dry. However, you have to spray paint the opposite side that you want the mirror effect on. So you’ll spray your glass and when you lift it up-the opposite side will be a mirror!
I was so nervous to test this spray paint out on this glass because I had plans on transforming a thrifted coffee table and I had high hopes it would work!
Mirrored home decor is all the craze RIGHT NOW and I really wanted this to work. I can’t believe this spray paint actually worked. The possibilities are endless with this rustoleum mirror effect spray paint! You could even make mercury glass by mixing half vinegar and water and spray it behind the glass/let it sit for about 4 minutes, and then use your spray paint. Then you’ll want to wait about 10 minutes and gently tissue off the water. Keep repeating that process depending on how thick you want it and how much black you want to show through. Then, spray paint the back with black spray paint. The possibilities are endless!
